I am a licensed clinical psychologist with many years of clinical experience in providing effective treatment to women and couples who are going through fertility treatment and are considering their family building options, suffered a miscarriage, or struggle to adjust to challenges of motherhood. I provide support and help to couples who received news of a fetal anomaly and facing a very hard decision-making process. My style is warm, empathetic, and collaborative. I practice non-judgmental active listening centered on your needs and values.
In addition to reproductive and perinatal psychology, as a therapist I have many years of experience treating trauma, substance use, and relational issues. I am very aware of cultural differences and aspects that every culture has, I am bilingual. I speak English, Russian, and Greek.
I offer individual and couples therapy in my practice in Torrance and Manhattan Beach or online depending on your circumstances.

Education and Clinical Experience
I have received my master’s degree in psychology from The New School for Social research in New York City and my doctoral degree in clinical psychology from California School for Professional Psychology in Los Angeles. My dissertation entitled “Battling Stigma: Adult female identity and the use of affirmative feminist therapy with women who do not have children” explores stigma attached to infertility and ways to negotiate it. During my clinical training I worked in many different settings including Beth Israel Medical Center Detox and Rehab where I gained extensive experience working with substance use, Department of Mental Health LAC where I gained experience working with all kids of trauma and severe persistent mental illness, Pasadena Rehabilitation Institute where I worked with Chronic Pain, Anxiety clinic, and other clinical settings. Beyond my Psy.D in clinical psychology, I completed a three-year Post-Doctoral program in Somatic Experiencing, a body-oriented trauma resolution method. Personal Passion: As a mom of 3 kids I am passionate about maternal mental health. I help moms in their postpartum adjustment and use my clinical training and experience to help moms feel themselves again after the struggle with Postpartum depression, anxiety, and/or postpartum adjustment.
